Welcome to Zencewell Courier. By using our website and services, you agree to be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Definition of Services

Zencewell Courier (“the Company”) provides pickup, transit, and delivery services within Ghana. “Customer” refers to the sender or the person/entity requesting the service.

2. Prohibited Items

The Customer agrees not to ship items that are illegal, hazardous, or restricted under Ghanaian law, including but not limited to:

  • Narcotics or illegal substances.

  • Explosives, firearms, or ammunition.

  • Perishable goods (unless specifically arranged via cold-chain service).

  • Currency, bullion, or high-value jewelry (unless declared and insured).

  • Live animals.

3. Packaging and Labeling

  • Customer Responsibility: It is the Customer’s duty to ensure that items are adequately packaged to withstand the rigors of transit.

  • Inspection: Zencewell reserves the right to inspect any package to ensure compliance with safety regulations, though we are not obligated to do so.

4. Delivery and Failure to Deliver

  • Attempts: We make up to [Two] delivery attempts. If the recipient is unavailable, the item may be returned to our nearest hub for pickup.

  • Redelivery Fees: Additional charges may apply for subsequent delivery attempts or rerouting requested by the Customer.

  • Proof of Delivery: A digital signature or photo confirmation by the recipient shall be deemed conclusive evidence of successful delivery.

5. Fees and Payment

  • Rates: Delivery fees are calculated based on weight, dimensions, and distance. Prices quoted on our website are subject to change based on actual measurements at the time of pickup.

  • Payment Terms: Services must be paid for at the point of booking or via Cash on Delivery (CoD) where applicable.

  • Surcharges: Shipments to remote areas or “off-road” locations may incur additional “Last-Mile” surcharges.

6. Insurance and Liability

  • Standard Liability: In the event of loss or damage due to Zencewell’s negligence, our liability is limited to a maximum of [e.g., 2x the delivery fee] unless a higher value was declared.

  • Declared Value: For high-value items, Customers must declare the value and pay a specialized insurance premium.

  • Exclusions: Zencewell is not liable for “Force Majeure” events (e.g., floods, civil unrest, or government road closures) or damage resulting from insufficient packaging by the Customer.

7. Cash on Delivery (CoD) Policy

For e-commerce partners using our CoD service:

  • Zencewell acts as a collection agent only.

  • Collected funds will be remitted to the Merchant’s designated bank account within [e.g., 24–48 hours] after delivery completion.

8. Claims and Complaints

Any claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing to [email protected] within [e.g., 48 hours] of the scheduled delivery date. Claims made after this period will not be entertained.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana.

10. Modifications

Zencewell reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
